On Saturday, May 4th, at Osswald Park in Fort Lauderdale, ColorCopiesUSA was proud to attend the GIVE Expo (Get Involved Volunteer Expo) hosted by “2-1-1 Broward” in order to support the organization’s mission which is to provide a helpline and other support services for individuals in the community- specifically, those who are seeking crisis intervention assistance and/or information and referrals to health and human services in Broward County.
2-1-1 Broward specializes in assisting residents in search of emergency financial assistance, food, shelter, housing, child care, job placement, relief from abuse, depression, healthcare or mental support. Trained counselors are available for these people 24/7, 365 days a year. Not only is each call is free, confidential, and anonymous, but the organization prides itself on ensuring that no call goes unanswered.

The GIVE Expo was designed to connect the community with resources and information on various volunteer opportunities around the area. ColorCopiesUSA had the privilege of attending this event and organizing a booth alongside the diverse entertainment, food trucks, and many other vendors. Their purpose was not only to support 2-1-1 Broward, but also to provide further assistance for the people who the organization helps as well as other local businesses.
